Terrible news has arisen that an amount of 109 hippos killed due to suspicion of an Anthrax outbreak in the Namibian National Park. These kinds of serious outbreaks are said to be common according to the park rangers. They also stated that this is especially common when the Okavango River starts to dry up and the water capacity runs low.

There are 4 ways that Anthrax can be spread which includes inhalation, intestinal, injection and skin contact. This is because the spores spread through contact, the bacteria can survive in soil or water for many years, which makes spreading quite easy.
